It has been so long since I have done a MHR post. Believe me, this has nothing to do with my husband but with my own recent laziness and slacking. I am back to giving my blog the attention it deserves. I love blogging! It really is therapeutic for me.
This past week my hubby has been absolutely wonderful!! Many things are worth mentioning. He took us out to dinner Sat night, he rented us movies he knew we would like, it was his idea to take the toddlers to the library this past Monday, he has helped out around the house and so on! But what REALLY touched me this past week was this; for the first time in a long time, I felt really down about myself. As I have mentioned, I have been dieting and exercising for 3 plus weeks now. I lost 9 lbs in the 1st 2 weeks and on the third week I GAINED 3 lbs back. I told myself this is normal and I need to keep doing what I am doing, but I still felt so let down.
Scott ran out to get some soda and came home with some low fat yogurt (a new favorite snack of mine and the kids) and a great reusable water bottle. (this is AWESOME for when I am on the go altho I have been using it 24/7) This really cheered me up and got me out of my funk. Without saying the words, yogurt and a water bottle said "you can do this, keep going"!
Scott also brought me my favorite tuna sub on whole wheat from Subway TWICE this week. What a treat!! My husband rocks and I love him.
