Just an Update

Brandon & Faith have colds. We have been very lucky, they have not been sick very often. In fact, this is the 3rd time for each of them! However, each of the 1st 2 colds turned into something worse for Brandon, so I am nervous! First was RSV - I never want to go through that again! Then his 2nd cold turned into a mild bronchitis. I am trying SO hard to prevent this cold getting into his chest. I am making sure he stays dry - he is still a big DROOL monster. I have the cool mist humidifier going in their room and I rubbed some baby vicks on their chests and their feet. I have heard a couple coughing spells from Brandon tonight - poor baby. Faith is pretty stuffy and sounds like she is snoring like her Daddy! I am always a nervous wreck when any one of my kids are sick. Hmmmm, come to think of it, I am nervous when my hubby is sick too. It's no fun to be such a worry wart!!

Zach is pretty healthy - no signs of any cold yet. He is now Broadcasting the morning messages at school. He is also in the running to be the school bus safety patrol. AND Basketball season is about to start! Which reminds me, I need to register him RIGHT NOW! Ooooh, Brandon & Faith are going to be harder to entertain at Basketball this year. Last year, they were buckled up in their infant carriers and I put the carriers in the bleachers with me. Daddy will be working during practice time, so I will be on my own. I will have to have the stroller in the gym or wait in the car! We will make it work:)

Something else I realized - I need to buy 3 winter coats soon! I might not buy NEW coats for the twins - people are always getting rid of their baby clothes. I will buy Zach's coat. This last one lasted for 2 seasons. Hmmm, well I do have a couple friends with older boys. Maybe they have coats that their boys grew out of? Yeah, I am going to do my best to not have to spend any $$$ and still find some stylish coats. KIDS!! You have to get new stuff for them constantly!

As for Scott and I, we have been working working working. Both of us have jumped to any chance of working over time. This is my 2nd week of working OT and I am REALLY looking forward to next weekend when I get my 2 nights of blissful sleep back! Mommy is going to be in bed at 9:05 PM on Saturday, Oct. 4th. (sound asleep by 9:07)

Ugh...the boys have colds too and so do I. :( Hopefully all of us are better soon and I'll keep my fingers crossed that the colds don't get any worse for any of the kids!

I hope they are better soon for you Peggy. I hate colds, they are just horrible. Maybe this means they will be healthy for the wintertime. Hope you get some sleep soon too. OT is bittersweet!

It is a struggle to keep kids healthy. I hope you get some rest and have a great fall. Thanks for the compliment on my table topper.

Hey lady! I have a BUNCH of baby boy coats (12-18 months) that are too short for Angelo. E-mail me and we'll talk!
