Count Your Blessings!

I have so many blessings to count! Family, Friends, Faith, our happy home. Today, I was thinking about how blessed I am to have help from various people. I hope people around me know just how much I appreciate their help! Maybe I was feeling so thankful because Thanksgiving is coming? This year Thanksgiving will mean a lot more than just turkey. (I am so sick of eating turkey right now from my diet) I am thankful for my family. My wonderful, patient, loving, handsome husband. My brilliant, smart, loving, handsome 8 yr old, and my 2 adorable twin babies. But also my extended family- my parents are AWESOME! My sisters, whom I am missing and need to talk to more often, My Aunt and Uncle and all my cousins - I love spending time with them and I want to visit really soon as they are just a couple towns over! Also my in-laws. I love my in-laws and feel blessed to be part of such a wonderful family!
Angel, my best friend of 15 years, the Godmother of my children - we talk almost every day and seem to find ways to see each other pretty often even tho we are states away from each other! Angel's family is part of my family too. My very close friend Kristin has become someone I can count on and trust. I really enjoy her company and she gets along well with the kids:)
Ok, so now I am going on and on... and please forgive me if you didn't get a "shout out" on this post. The reason I started this post was to talk about the help I get from others. Just today as an example, in one day I received lots of help.
In the morning Zach had a bday party to attend. My plan was to dress up the babies and we would all go to the party. The party was held smack in the middle of nap time. Well, the bday boy's mom called me the night before and offered to take Zach for me! That was GREAT. I didn't get put off schedule at all. Later on, I had to take Zach to basketball practice. My neighbors watched the babies and didn't mind one bit! I could have taken them, and I will be taking them to future games, but this was the 1st day and I didn't know what to expect. It was nice to just sit in the bleachers and watch without worrying about the babies screaming in the middle of practice:) Now, at practice, another friend/neighbor of mine who is also a bball coach told me he can get Zach switched from the team he was picked for to his team, which would mean Zach could ride with him to all the practices and even the games if I didn't go. That would be a HUGE help! He told me to relax and he would get it done for me. That is a load off. Otherwise, I would have to bundle up the babies and take them out this winter TWICE a week to basketball. This nice gentleman's wife has also offered to take the babies any day so I can get some sleep. Now that was a day full of kindness! I try to do what I can to "Pay it Forward"
~Have a Wonderful Day!
