Today is Lose-A-Palooza - a one-day social media event to help raise awareness and encourage participation in the Lose For Good campaign. Lose for Good is a campaign running from 9/5-10/23/10, to raise money to fight hunger. There are so many ways to contribute! I can contribute just by being a member and losing weight:) Also, for every lb I lose, I am bringing in a food item equal to that weight to donate to a local food bank. This week I only lost .4, so I could donate a small box of raisins. Hoping to lose at least 1.2 ponds next week which will put me right back where I was prior to going on vacation:) Then I can bring in some heavier canned food.

Have you lost weight? Do you ever wonder what you have really lost? What a difference it makes? Go to a store or a gym and pick up a weight or 2 equalling the amount you have lost. It is amazing to feel the actual weight that you used to carry around! I held a 15 lb weight in my meeting yesterday, and that is 5 lbs less than what I have lost, but boy was it heavy! Can't believe I carried that much more of me around before. Hoping to be a lot lighter by Christmas!
