Tackle it Tuesday ~ A Magnet

I am just rootin tootin proud of myself! Here it is Tuesday and I realized I had nothing to blog about in regards to a "tackle". Lately, it is a real TACKLE for me to do something as simple as a load of laundry! I certainly don't want to blog about doing laundry. Or how about the 1 1/2 hours it took to clean the kitchen?? All because I have to stop every 5 minutes to handle a potty accident or join Faith in sitting in the bathroom. I just can't believe I had a crafty idea, much less the time to throw it together! Today we found a little bag of advertising goodies from a local Vet clinic. Business cards, pens and a magnet. We get things like this quite often, and I usually keep the pens and toss everything else. But today I thought WHY throw these magnets away when I can make them into something more personal? Today's tackle is a fridge magnet! I made it in just minutes while the kids were playing.

I gathered some supplies from my craft room.

Step 1: double stick tape on the magnet

Step 2: Cover with paper of your choice

Step 3: Add anything you want, I added a ribbon

Step 4: I used this AWESOME hole punching thing that my friend Lucy bought me. I use this all the time! LOVE IT!

Step 5: Punched a hole and added some paper flowers (made by Angel) and a heart brad.

Added some stickers and stuck it on the fridge! YAY! I really like it:)

I'm planning to do something similar (though far less crafty) with some old ad magnets myself. Great job!
