Monday night, Faith was sick all night. She had a fever and was SCREAMING in discomfort. Still don't know why, but if I had to guess , I would guess she had a sore throat. Because that is what I have now!! So, Tuesday my Dad gave me some scary news.. he is not feeling well and is having some tests done. I have been worried. Tuesday night at the beginning of my work shift, I hear Zach puking A LOT upstairs. I spent the first hour or so of my shift cleaning up his bed, the floor and making him comfy with a "yack" bucket my his side. Wednesday, I develop cold/flu like symptoms. Great! However, Dad gave me good news from his first test so that brightened my spirits:) Wednesday night I felt pretty bad and asked a manager if I could please just skip the evening and go back to bed. So I slept last night - hard. Then I fell asleep on the couch while Daddy played with the twins. I slept again at nap time. I feel a little bit better now, still achy and blah. Still have a bit of a sore throat. Zach is all better today and was happy to go to school! The twins seem well. They are fussier than usual.. OR maybe I am so tired I don't feel like I can handle them. I think that is more the case. They are wondering why mommy is not playing with them?
I noticed a few of my friends are starting the "time out" process. So I decided I would too. 1 minute per year of age of course. So far, Faith gets time out the MOST. She understands that she is in trouble when she sits in this chair, so that's good.

Peggy, I so proud of you! Time out for Faith.. And it looks like she stayed. That picture will be a "oh this is your boyfriend" let me show him a picture of you when you were little! LOL
I am glad you are feeling better. Sorry you and the kiddos were sick!
{{{hugs}}}
Haha, I know this is terrible, but your story made me laugh! And I just LOVE pics of kids being naughty, so I got a kick out of the photo of your daughter in time-out. Why is it that little kids are so darn cute when they're bratty? I love it.
I'm glad you are feeling a bit better! I will be praying for your dad and that there are many more good results from tests!
Also great idea about time outs being one minute for every year of their age!
LOVED the picture with the bowl on her head. haha =]
I would totally borrow your twins if we lived closer, I truly LOVE kids...and well just between you and me, it looks like babies might not be to far into my future as I previously thought! ;) Thanks for all your great encouragement!
