Chick-Fil-A & Diet & Exercise

Took the kids to Chick-Fil-A again this week.We LOVE Chick-Fil-A!! The kids love to play and I love to eat in peace:) (is that mean??) Plus, I absolutely love the customer service at the location we go to. It's as if we are at a full service restaurant instead of a fast food chain! Also, they have the only "fast food salad" that I enjoy! I get the grilled chicken garden salad. It's delicious!



Faith made a friend while she was there. They were so cute playing together! The girl was a little older. Faith walked up to her and said "HI!" The girl said "hi, what's your name?" Faith actually said "My name is Faith". I was so impressed. I wanted to take a picture of the 2 of them playing, but I didn't want the girl's parents to wonder why I was taking pictures of their daughter.


The play room had a display of Usborne books to look at! I had never really seen the books in person before, they ARE nice! Brandon found a Trains book and held on to it with dear life as he played.




As I mentioned, I have been dieting and using the elliptical machine. I have also been drinking water! Week 1 i only did 10 minutes a day on the elliptical. Week 2, I made it to 15 minutes! (this past week:)) I am really proud of myself! It's hard, but I feel so happy and proud afterwards, so it's worth it. I still hate exercise, but I know it is the KEY to weight loss!!! I have lost 6 pounds so far. It will be 2 weeks this Monday. Is that a good amount for 2 weeks? Even if the weight loss seems slow, I don't want to get discouraged. I am eating very healthy and exercising, I am sure I will see a change eventually! So, what do you think? Am I looking any different so far?

hahaha! That pic made me laugh! I LOVE Chikfila salads! My fave is thefruit one. YUMMM! I got a chickfila calendar for Christmas. It was one of my favorite presents. There is a coupon for something free every month. I had a bowl of soup on Thursday for lunch. It was FREE! Congrats on your weight loss!!!
6 pounds is a GREAT weight loss for 2 weeks!! I lose only about 1/2 to 1 pound a week. (And I work out nearly every day.)My average for last year was 2 pounds a month. Talk about SLOW! But, I have about 11 pounds to be where I want to be for the wedding. And 2 pounds a month would just do it. So, I've got to keep going. I do the working out just fine, but I guess I eat too much. I need to start writing it down and keeping track of what I eat. Okay...just talked myself into that. LOL Have a great weekend. I am proud of you!

um..excuse me, but that is a GREAT amount for only two weeks!
