Greetings from OBX!

We are having a WONDERFUL time on our vacation!! Today is the last full day here:( We need to spend most of the day getting our things together for the trip home. We will make some time to go out one more time to the beach or the pool or both. Maybe some last minute shopping too... I must buy some fudge I decided. (I am killing all the progress I made from my recent diet!)
We have done so much this week! The resort is great. We are in a newer unit and seem to have this section to ourselves. Each building has 2 units. We are upstairs. Our unit has 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths! SO much room. My parents were here from Sun until Friday so they had their own room and bathroom. One of the rooms is upstairs... like an attic set up. It has 2 twin beds and skylights and a flat screen tv. Zach claimed that space! He loves having his own area. The babies' room is really nice too. It has a couch and tables and one of those murphy beds that you pull down from the wall. Perfect. We keep the murphy bed up and use the space for the 2 pack in plays that I borrowed from Mandy. We use the couch to change their diapers and clothes:) They also have a flat screen and dvd in their room so they have been watching Barney and Thomas. They have been sleeping really well and we are sticking to their nap and bed schedule. The master bedroom is pretty big with a jacuzzi tub in the corner and another flat screen tv. (every room has a flat screen!) This place has a full size washer and dryer so I am washing all of our clothes today so I won't have to do it when we get home.
I have been able to go to the beach or the pool every day during nap time! Pure bliss:)
We have all gone to the beach as a family. Brandon didn't care for the sand too much. He calls it snow. LOL We went to the indoor pool.. Faith LOVES the water. Brandon, not so much. We went on a nature trail.. Brandon LOVED it! He loves to explore so we let him lead the way. He stuck to the path so it was safe:) We went to Jockey Ridge which is a park of sand dunes... popular for flying kites and hand gliding. We flew an Elmo kite until Faith let it go and Elmo went bye bye. We went go karting and they actually allowed the babies to go with us! Scott and I each had one of the babies and Zach had a car by himself. We all loved it. We went out to breakfast yesterday (it was so good) but for the most part, we have been eating here... it is much cheaper and with a full kitchen, why not? Scott and I went out on a date one night while my parents were here. We ate some seafood at a local oyster bar and then went out to sing karaoke. The weather has really been on our side! Although it calls for scattered thunderstorms almost every day.. the patch of rain we get is short and usually happens during a time we are in for a meal or in for the night. We were only caught in the rain one day and we used it to shop for a few souvenirs.
Tomorrow we head back, but on the way home we are going to Busch Gardens! They have a new "Sesame Street Forest" attraction that I am sure the babies will love. I am looking forward to taking Zach on the "Big Bad Wolf", the only roller coaster in the world that I actually like! I am sure we will be so exhausted by the time we reach our home. I hope everyone has a wonderful Mother's Day! I will be posting pics when I get home.. back to a faster Internet service:)
Toodles!
