We went to the "Festival of Lights" last night. A local park sets up many light displays for cars to drive through to view. (for a cost of course) I have been to many of these in the past, but never to the one that is done locally here.
Ok, it took me a while to figure out how to take pictures of the displays!

At the end of the show there is a little parking area if you want to walk through the carnival. So we did. Well, it was pretty cold out and the line to buy ride tickets was very long!! We decided to go head back home.Zach was pretty sad that we were leaving without going on any rides. So, we let him roast marshmallows at the fire pit so he could make some smores. He ate the smores on the walk back to the truck.
We went home and had some hot cider while I cooked dinner. It was a fun filled evening:)

Too funny- we were there for the 1st time on Saturday night after dinner!! We thought we'd do a quick drive through, but waited in traffic for over 30 minutes! But it was worth the wait. And luckily L&D are too little to want to get out for the carnival. That won't last long, though. ;)
