A Visit from Memay and Grandad!

My parents came to visit yesterday! We had a lot of fun. Sometimes you just have to take a day to be irresponsible. LOL Really - you can't always do the right thing all the time! (please don't let kids read my blog) We took an "irresponsible" day or two days as the case may be. What I mean by that is - I took the night off work. *GASP* Even worse than that - I let Zach stay home from school today. WHAT!!!? I know, I know - bad parenting choice. He wanted to stay up late and visit with and watch movies with Memay. Another irresponsible thing I did was ORDER food when I didn't have the money! *DOUBLE GASP* The food wasn't all that great - pizza and wings from some local place. I should have cooked like the original plan!! But it was more fun to order delivery.

Some sad news, however, Brandon is sick again. :( They had their little head colds 1-2 weeks ago and recovered quickly. Then Scott became sick. Well, looks like a ping pong effect because Brandon became ill again during the last 24 hours. So, turns out, I would have had to call in sick any way. (maybe) Scott and I were up ALL NIGHT with Brandon. He had a fever, was vomitting and was having a hard time breathing. We were up to give him Tylenol every 3 hours, a cool bath, and several breathing treatments. Currently, Brandon is with his Dad at the ER. We had made an appt for today but they couldn't see us until 1:30. We were too worried about Brandon's breathing - and when we called back to express our concerns they told us to take him to the ER. They have been gone a couple hours - I am trying not to worry, but I know how time consuming a trip to any ER can be.

If you are reading this, and you are planning on coming over this Saturday - we think Brandon will be over this by then. But if not, we will work something out so we don't infect others:)

Zach - happy as can be, playing pool with his Grandfather and knowing he can stay up late. (although, because he missed school, we are putting him to work today! Hope it was worth it Zach:))

My dear sweet wonderful Mom put together a little toy organizer for the play room for me. She actually ENJOYS assembling things! Well, I HATE assembling things and will put it off for weeks (months). Mom offered to assemble this for me and she enjoyed herself. THANK YOU MOM!

It was so nice visiting:) Mom & Dad brought me over some crystal that was my Great Grandmother's. They also brought a couple of plants that were my Grandmothers. I love family heirlooms and such and I will take good care of the crystal. No guarantee on the plants, but I will do my best!
