Tackle it Tuesday

Tackle It Tuesday Meme

We wanted to decorate our "media" room in the basement with movie decor. We are on a budget, so we ordered posters online from allposters.com and we bought poster frames. I was tasked with the framing, hubby did that actual hammering and hanging.

Have to have at least one 80s brat pack movie!

300 was a pretty decent movie. We snuck out to see it when I was VERY pregnant with the twins and supposed to be on bed rest. Good times!

Dark Knight - the boys wanted this one. I haven't seen it, but I like Heath Ledger and am sad he is gone.

Hmmm - Pulp Fiction - not a favorite of mine, but Scott likes it and I am a big John Travolta fan!

Spider Man 3 - GREAT MOVIE!

I say we need a couple more. Defintely a kids movie of some type. Disney probably. And last but not least - the Phantom of the Opera. Oh yeah. Must have it!

What a great idea, inexpensive yet beautiful :) I love spider man too. It's also fun to tackle when you have someone to help you out with :)

The Breakfast Club ROCKS! And I like John Travolta too! I still have his record from back in his Welcome Back Kotter days! *LMAO* And a former co-workers husband worked on movies and got me a personalized autograph picture of him in Phenomenon....LOVED THAT MOVIE! A Disney poster is a MUST! If you don't do at least one, that's grounds for BBFFF separation.

Love the colors in your media room! We decorate ours with movie posters as well -- but all from the Lord of the Rings trilogy. If I lay down on the couch, I now can stare into Viggo Mortenson's dreamy eyes....

Great idea to add just the perfect touch to your media room and filling up the wall space while you're at it.

That's a great idea! I won a Charlotte's Web poster and it is in my son's room, works well because there are lots of blues in the poster and his room is blue.

Nice to meet you!
