We Are Here! Our Road Trip.....

We made it! An 11 hour drive in only....15 hours. LOL! We left at 6am and arrived at 9:15 pm. We stopped every 4 hours for bottles and 1 stop just to change a poopy diaper. I used 2 tanks of gas.

1st stop.. McDonalds. I love their breakfast food! We left right after people started lighting up cigarettes! Woah.. I am so used to a "no smoking in public" law that we have in Virginia, I forget it is not nationwide. Another strange thing that happened here... a young boy that worked there walked by and reached out and touched Faith! I was thinking ..WHAT THE ???!!!! Once we sat down to eat the same boy came over and sat down in a seat across from us and just stared at the babies and smiled and waved. The babies stared right back, they were not bothered, but I thought it was a little strange. We started talking to him but he didn't understand much english. He just loved the babies. I had told Angel that we get a lot of attention in public, but this was over the top.

Next stop - Waffle House. Zach and I LOVE the waffle house and Angel had never been to one!

Zach on the road. He tried to sleep but the babies didn't really let him. The babies were awake MOST OF THE TRIP!!!

Faith went from crying to babbling to laughing back to crying, babbling, laughing. She showed her multiple personalities the entire way.

Brandon cried a little too, but not as much as Faith. He did a lot of babbling and laughing too. They really did well on this trip for having to be in those little seats for so long!!

It was such a beautiful day for a drive! It was an easy trip. I took 95 the whole way to Georgia.

We are finally here!! I just LOVE Angel's house. It is so cute! Things are so different down south. I walk outside and hear birds singing.. and that's it! I hear all sorts of noises outside of my house. People, cars, sirens, dogs... Speaking of dogs, I was outside taking this picture and a big friendly dog ran up to me to say hello:)

Zach has been on the computer already.. playing on his webkinz account. This is Angel's stamp room. My scrapbook/stampin friends would be so jealous! It looks like a little store in here. Drawers and shelves full of stamps, paper, ribbons and more. Later today we are going to set up a long table in here for us to scrapbook on. We are going to leave it set up the whole week so we can just spread out our scrapbooks and supplies and scrap for a bit every day without cleaning up! Oh how heavenly.
I was so excited to find this screened in back porch! We are going to be hanging out here while Kevin (Angel's hubby) grills steaks. The weather is just beautiful for grilling.

Last picture for the day is showing how my kids are messing up this house as I type!

I am going to go cook lunch for Angel and Katie. It is a polish dish I discovered years ago. May sound kinda gross but it is SO DELICIOUS! I boil and then fry rigatoni noddles until they are golden and a little crispy yet chewy. I season them as I fry them with onion powder and pepper. After filling a plate with fried noodles, I top them with a layer of cottage cheese and then a thin layer of sour cream on top of that. Season with pepper to taste and enjoy! (Actually, you are supposed to mix the cottage cheese with onions and sugar, but I like it plain)

OMG!! I am soo jealous!! For real! I would LOVE to have a craft room like that! Wow!. . . . In order for me to be able to leave my things out I have to leave them on the kitchen table. Then it gets in the way of other things and I have to worry about the kids getting something on my things or messing with my stuff. Can I come play with you guys for a while? lol.. .just kidding. Hi Angel!!

Wow, you're in GA! That's great. My sister, brother-in-law, niece, and nephews live in Atlanta. Where did you visit?

I agree that the boy in McD's was a little strange, but laugh at the smoking in public. I'm a LA native, so that's not new to me. :)
