I haven't had the "Monday Blues" in a long long time! Usually people don't like Mondays because they have to go back to work on a Monday. I start my work week on a Sat night. My husband has off on Sun and Mon so I really enjoy those days. Yesterday I had a wonderful Monday! When I got off work, Scott took care of the babies while I enjoyed a wonderful 2 hour nap. I woke up in time for the babies to take a nap! Good timing! So, during their nap I decided to scrapbook. I made 2 simple pages. I didn't even use any of my photos. LOL My scrapbooks have to tell a story. And the one I am working on now, of course, tells the story of having twins! So, the first page of the book (pictured below) starts with my story of how I found out I was pregnant. It also has my 1st "Congratulations" card made by
Angel. I LOVE to use Angel's handmade cards on my pages! Her cards always contain all the cool little elements you would want to put on a scrapbook page, and she has done all the work! LOL I was so excited to find a "pregnancy" scrapbook piece of paper with ALL the same colors of the card Angel made me. WOW! I used a couple pieces of card stock Angel sent me for Christmas to place the card on. I found a tag in a "baby boy" tag book I had filed under Brandon that also matched the colors. It was all meant to be...

So now in my story, we know that I am pregnant. It only makes sense that the next page tells how I found out about the TWINS! I happened to find a 12x12 cardstock page that matched the color of another pregnancy paper I had. I tore the paper in 1/2 for something different. I typed out the story on my computer and tore that out too. Again, both pages are very basic but they were fun and I finished just as the babies woke from their nap!
Thank you all so much for sharing your opinions on the pictures I took! I picked out the "top one" that everyone voted for:) Here are the cute frames I found at Target for just $5 each. The 1 frame with the babies has a pink bird and a blue bird on top. I thought that was perfect for the twins:) I am going to wrap these up and give them to Scott over dinner. I am also having something special delivered to him at work that day! No, I am not worried that he will see all this on my blog before Thursday, because our office has BLOCKED blogger!! If I wasn't working from home, I would be really upset about this. :)
I also had a productive day on my diet. I have been sticking with my points pretty well. I need to work out and drink water more. Yesterday, I worked out on the eliptical machine for 10 minutes! Don't laugh. This is the longest I have done so far. That thing is hard!
I took this picture of Brandon yesterday. SIGH I am afraid he has me wrapped around his little finger.
And this is Faith ... just a few minutes ago!!! She took a little cat nap. It's over. She is awake. Oh yes. Awake. Crying. Yes, crying. Why? Because she wants to be picked up. If I go pick her up right now she will smile instantly! Mommy is coming princess! I hear you, get off the computer! Yeah yeah.

Oh! I like that frame for the twins pic! Where in Target are those? The flowers look like the ones from Embrace life! :D
So Brandon and Faith nap in the pack in play? Is it in the livingroom? I don't think mine would ever nap like that anymore!
Your scrapbook looks great!
Mine have never fallen asleep on the floor while playing....you're lucky. And nice work on the pages. :)
I love nap time!!! wahooo!!! The house gets picked up only to have a tornado run through it named Little Monkey! Ha!
