Good News for a Full-Time Working/Full-Time Mom!

That's what I call myself, because I feel like I am a full time worker while being a full time mom. I work at night when the kids are sleeping and I am here during the day while they are awake! I get little sleep. Really, it is not as bad as it sounds. I am off every Thurs and Fr night and Scott is off on Sun and Mon plus he gets home early enough on Saturday. So, I can go to bed at a decent time on Sat, Sun and Monday. The problem has been Tues and Wed nights. Scott does not get home til 8, so I can not get to bed til 8:15-8:30. My alarm goes off at 11. (yes I snooze it til almost 11:30) So I will get 2 1/2 - 3 hours of sleep prior to going to work. This has made me DELIRIOUS! So, I decided to speak with upper management about my problem. After several meetings, it has been approved for me to work from home onTues and Wed nights!!!! YAY! This is super great news. So, now I can sleep until 12 on those nights. If I am still really tired when I end my shift at 8:30, I "could" crawl into bed while Scott feeds the babies at 9 like he always does:) So this is great news all around! It will help with my sanity which will help out the entire household. LOL No one likes a grumpy Mommy!

YAY!!! Boy I tried the whole working at night thing and going to school during the day. I found my self falling asleep in class a lot. But I did that being single and no kids. Hats off to you Peg for being able to handle it while being a full time mom too!
